Introduction Week 2025 took place in the second week of September and welcomed the fourth cohort of EMJM SBBE students to their first semester at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. 

To kick off the week, the consortium invited the new students to a meeting with international scholars, industry representatives and members of the second and third cohorts, where some of the unique experiences given by the SBBE program were shared. 

Over the following days, students had the opportunity to tour campus facilities including brewery science and state-of-the-art GEO laboratories. Additional courses and lectures took place as well. 

The newest cohort was also given a taste of what Wroclaw has to offer through a guided tour and cruise on the Odra River. Students, along with members of the consortium and university representatives, boarded near WUST campus and left for a scenic cruise through the city by way of tour boat. As food was barbecued on the back, students had the opportunity to chat with each other and their future professors, listen to music from every member’s home country, and challenge the program coordinator in a lively foosball tournament.
