Polish Culinary Experience
The 4th cohort students explored another essential dimension of Polish culture through a hands-on culinary workshop at the Polish Your Cooking studio. The session offered an immersive experience into traditional Polish cuisine, combining technique, teamwork, and cultural discovery.
During the workshop, the students prepared classic pierogi filled with potatoes and mushrooms, carefully working on dough consistency and filling balance. They also cooked traditional barszcz (Polish beetroot soup), learned the precise preparation techniques required for fish tartare, and baked aromatic gingerbread cookies, a beloved element of Polish culinary tradition.
The workshop was both educational and engaging, encouraging collaboration and attention to detail at every stage of the cooking process. To conclude the experience, a friendly competition was held among the prepared dishes, and the tartare was chosen as the winner of the day.
Overall, the activity provided the 4th cohort not only with new culinary skills but also with a deeper appreciation of Polish flavors and traditions.
