Walking Into Autumn: 4th Cohort on the Move
It was a refreshing change of pace for the SBBE 4th cohort to step away from the lecture halls and into the fresh air for a session of Nordic walking. For many students, this was a first-time experience, trading traditional trekking for the rhythmic, full-body coordination required by the poles. Guided by an expert instructor, they wandered their way through the park, learning that it is less about “walking with sticks” and more about a purposeful, energetic stride.
What started as a series of slightly awkward, uncoordinated steps quickly transformed into a synchronized flow. Beyond the physical exercise, the session served as a unique bonding opportunity. It is hard not to laugh and connect when everyone is learning a new skill together. By the final lap, the initial hesitation had vanished, replaced by a sense of collective achievement and a newfound appreciation for the simple act of moving through nature during beautiful Golden Polish Autumn.
